Children and Youth

Our children and youth are a precious and essential part of our congregation. We believe that each member of our community of faith--adults of all ages, teens, children, as well as families, benefit from increased opportunities to interact with each other and enjoy each other's gifts. Our overarching goal is to create a place where children feel safe, valued, and loved for whom they are, and to teach our children how to be connected to God and incorporate the teachings of Jesus into their lives.

At Redeemer we are very concerned for the safety of the children and youth who are placed under our care. Christ the Redeemer is a a member of the Winning Kids community and are in the process of implementing the Plan to Protect  policies contained in their 2007 manual.  If you have concerns or questions, please contact The Senior Pastor at 604-865-0336. Information about Plan to Protect can be found at www.winningkids.ca or by contacting them by email at info@winningkids.ca

Church School

Sundays during the school year, 9:45-10:30 a.m. for grades K through 7.

Each Sunday morning during the program year (which parallels the public school year), children and youth church school classes meet in age appropriate small groups in a safe and fun environment staffed by experienced workers. During this time a lesson is given and expanded through discussions, games, crafts, and various other interactive events.
